The Fundación Síndrome de Down (Madrid's Down's Syndrome Foundation) and Central de Diseño / DIMAD present this exhibition intended as a space for dialogue between three different artistic takes on late 19th c. and early 20th c. Spanish paintings.

To this effect, each one of these twelve paintings has been assigned to an interior designer, a fashion designer and a mentally handicapped person.  The interior designers - including, among others, Mamen García de la Hoz, Pascua Ortega and Tomás Alía- have designed their creations to reconceptualize the space, the fashion designers - with such names as Amaya Arzuaga, Elio Berhanyer and Roberto Torretta contributing- have made costumes inspired by the images they've been given, and the protagonists, individuals with Down's Syndrome, are the ones who will reenact each artwork.
