In the eighties, many young programmers designed their games specially for the computers of the time. Nowadays, those programmers are not so young, but they are excited to see how their old creations continue to be enjoyed on modern machinery: with the aid of emulators, titles like La Pulga (The Flea) or West Bank continue to be played on modern machines, tablet PCs with touch screens and mobile phones. Those programmers – those geniuses – have decided that the time has come to dress the emperor in new clothes. Geniuses like Víctor Ruiz, founder in 1983 of Dinamic Software and now director of the R+D+I department at FX Interactive, who, at the next Open Mondo Píxel-ArsGames, will present the version of Abu Simbel Profanation – his most famous creation – for IOS devices. But Víctor will not be the only developer showing how he has adapted his classic games to IOS platforms this afternoon.
