NO-MAN´S LAND. What is happening at borders?
A border fence will be the main axis of this exhibition presenting frontiers turned into places where there are "no rights", placing visitors in those places where violence and impunity are above respect for life and peoples' rights.

In 2017, CEAR visited the borders between Greece and Turkey, Italy and Central Mediterranean Sea, Spain and Morocco, and Mexico and Guatemala to check the serious situation which people confront all through their migratory journeys.
This exhibition is part of the Asylum, forced migration and frontiers Observatory (Observatorio del derecho de asilo, las migraciones forzadas y las fronteras), financed by the Agencia Extremeña de Cooperación Internacional (AEXCID), and set within the activities of Mirador Arganzuela, an innovation programme devoted to proximity culture from Junta de Arganzuela where social relations, spaces and other cultural centres of the area collaborate with Intermediae/Matadero Madrid to develop the cultural agenda of the neighbourhood of Arganzuela.

Inauguration and guided visits on Thursday, February 1 at 11 am.
