The project, Exitº, a short film à la carte, began in 2010 when the actress Beatriz Santiago and director Adrián Silvestre held a casting call: they were looking for migrant women who would like to star in their own film.  Since then, 46 actresses, adventurers and emmigrants, have become part of a line-up of workshops in expression and acting, taught by Beatriz Santiago, Adrián Silvestre and Lucila Maquieira, which resulted initially in a screenplay, the story of these women's lives, their adventures and misadventures in Spain.

Exitº sets out to tell these stories with a movie that requires something of the viewer: he/she must decide the dénouement of the dilemmas these women have faced.  The interaction implicit in the project allows us to tour the different stories these women tell, since there is no single movie, but instead eight of them that share a common premise: the arrival of each one of these women, full of wishes and dreams.  The movies retell the path that each woman has made for herself in Madrid, her Exitº ("exito", success).
Exitº is an open, hybrid process, an approach to filmmaking, a personal approach that focuses on interculturality, a working form of art and theatre and a tool to learn about the lives of these woman and get to know who they are: people who learn to live and fight, casting light on a little known reality.
The expression workshop is held every Monday and Tuesday at Intermediae and is a space set aside for coexistence, a forum for debates about gender, theatre, politics and life itself...  On this the first open-house afteroon, one can see the work that is being done on the project from the inside-out and share a space with its stars.
