This documentary, presented at the Sitges Film Festival, delves into the domains of the Catholic Church guided by one of the few exorcists left in Europe, José Antonio Fortea, who travels across the globe on the lookout for demonic possessions.  His constant efforts lead him to Constanza, a Colombian woman who claims she has been living with demons for the last fifteen years.   Director Fredrik Horn Akselsen studied film at NTNU in Norway and at QUT in Australia.  His debut, Treason and Sabotage, was presented at the Kosmorama Trondheim International Film Festival.  The Exorcist in the 21st Century is his second feature-length film.  
The screening will feature a presentation and discussion led by the film's direcor.
