Fringe Madrid pursues what is trailblazing, what is daring and what has never been seen before. This project began in Madrid two years ago with the aim of providing a space and a service to creators who wanted to show and share the most daring stage ideas in the area of theatre, dance, performance art, circus, physical theatre or theatre of objects, poetry, spoken word, etc. Fringe 14, the third edition of Fringe Madrid, will be held at Matadero Madrid from 4 to 27 July.
Having achieved international fame after bringing together over 50,000 spectators for its two previous editions, the festival has received 555 projects from 32 different countries. 59 projects were finally selected to be performed on the multiple and unusual stages of Matadero Madrid. The official programme for Fringe14 will be complemented by other free activities, such as Fringe Conciertos (concerts), Fringe Audiovisuales (audiovisuals), Fringe Palabra (word), Fringe Talleres y Charlas (workshops and discussions) and Fringe Kids.
