8pm Fru*Fru: Twerking at Matadero! Butt building performance.
> Fru*Fru Enjoyable architecture group. With no fixed abode, but working from Madrid, Murcia and Alicante in domestic environments, in media friendly formats and in contemporary communication channels, they are dedicated to actions for advancing architectural training, management and projects.
For this session, Colectivo Fru*Fru proposes TWERK VIRAL: TWERKING MULTITUDINARIO EN TERRAZA MATADERO (VIRALTWERK: MASS TWERKING SESSION ON THE MATADERO TERRACE). An invitation that aims to position twerking as a strategy for protest, by using dancers' bodies as a political weapon and a scene of conflict at the same time as a vehicle for enjoyment. Fru*Fru invites you to a collective twerking session, in which they will be building several prostheses to support and liven up the dancing equalling the abilities of the enthusiasts. Building a dancing butt not only alludes to a movement or a part of the anatomy, but also implies revealing all its connotations, ranging from gender to ethnic issues and even educational matters within a certain context. What butts are conjured up by the collective imagination of the visitors to Matadero Madrid?
10pm Concert: The Government
> The Government Who said that Soul had died a death in Madrid? The Government are clear proof that the soul never dies and that it can be highly subversive on the stage.
