The Garden of Earthly Delights, through the artworks of Colección SOLO is an invitation to revisit and reconnect from the present-day with Hieronymus Bosch’s masterpiece. Artificial intelligence, sound art, digital animation, painting, sculpture and installation accompany the visitor in a dialogue on the timeless, universal themes addressed by the original work.

Works by SMACK, Mario Klingemann, Miao Xiaochun, Cassie McQuater, Filip Custic, Lusesita, La Fura dels Baus-Carlus Padrissa, Mu Pan, Dan Hernández, Cool 3D World, Sholim, Dustin Yellin, Enrique del Castillo, Dave Cooper and Davor Gromilovic offer a contemporary perspective on the fifteenth-century masterpiece. Across a range of media including artificial intelligence, sound, digital animation, painting, sculpture and installation, the exhibition puts forward a reflection on the timeless, universal themes addressed by Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights, which ishoused in Madrid at the Prado Museum.

The different approaches, evocative references and visionary reinterpretations in these contemporary works make for an exhibition experience which opens up for visitors the narrative wealth of the original triptych, its countless layers of interpretation, symbolic potential and abilityto articulate a social portrayal of the present.
