WITH A HAND'S DREAMS

In celebration of the new exhibition,  Lecturas de cabecera [Bedside Readings], Margarita del Mazo and Paula Carbonell will lead boys and girls from four years of age to eight in a finger puppet workshop.   With the participants gathered together, dressed ready for bed, they will discover the dreams that others have created with their hands, stories gathered up in images kept on nightstands.  These are images that inspire and inform their nighttime reading: an image, a poem.   Because we dream with our hands and with our eyes, because we dream both awake and asleep, because we dream words and images, we will be dreaming at the Nube and that is where the puppet show will take place.   This workshop will end with different aspects of the process: building the stage, the characters, the text, and the performance of the play.
