SCORSESE DOCUMENTARIES. This acclaimed American director tells the story of the origins of Italian-Americans in the United States through an interview with his parents, Catherine and Charles Scorsese.  In just under 50 minutes, the filmmaker's parents recall the tale of three generations of their family, starting with their beginnings in Siciliy, making a stop in Little Italy and finally arriving at the present in Hollywood.  Among the anecdotes remarked in this short film, one that sticks out is that of a family recipe for Bolognese sauce as a symbol of the irrevocable changes brought about by the passage of time.
