This exhibition, curated by Eduardo Arroyo and Fabienne Di Rocco, highlights the relationship between painting and literature. It is a homage to books, narration, reading and writing, and to the variations and metamorphoses of the written word.   The show includes 17 portraits of San Jerónimo taken from Spanish and French public and private collections, including the Prado Museum, paintings by French artists Pierre Roy, Alfred Courmes, Clovis Trouille and Jules Lefranc, work by Rafael Cidoncha, Carlos García Alix and Sergio Sanz and, in the room dedicated to impossible reading, hundreds of books that make for heavy reading, among many other items.
