We-Traders. Swapping crisis for city! A workshop for constructing a people's parliament that will form part of the furnishings for the We-Traders' Marketplace. Swapping crisis for city is a project led by the Goethe-Institut  that connects initiatives by artists, designers, activists and many other citizens from five distinct European contexts. In Lisbon, Madrid, Toulouse, Turin and Berlin the current crisis manifests different facets from empty coffers and social polarisation to a lack of civic sense as a result of excessive growth.
We-Traders. Swapping crisis for city creates a knowledge and production platform for such initiatives, the so-called We-Traders. Which practices worked well in a particular context? Can certain elements be replicated elsewhere? How does the collaboration between private initiative and public bodies work out?
  There is an exhibition of the different projects at Nave 16 Matadero Madrid  along with a series of workshops and meetings, open to anyone who wishes to join in and share their experiences on this platform. Become a We-Trader.
