LAUREL HALO / LV / DOMA & ORPHIDAL

All the way from Brooklyn we've got Laurel Halo with her debut album infused with pop and electronic, in this second Sunday edition of the series known as Rara Avis.  Accompanying her, the musically unpredicatable London-based trio called LV (Hyperdub) mix up dub kwaito and English funk, featuring hyperbolic bass lines and minimalist arrangements.  And with them will be the Spanish duo Doma & Orphidal (Souless Lab Records), residents at the Nave de Música at Matadero.
