The unbelievable and little known story of the space race that took place in Lebanon in the early 60s.  The Lebanese Rocket Society, founded by a group of dreamer scientists, built and launched the first rocket of the Arab world.  This film sheds light on this fascinating story nowadays forgotten - or kept secret.   About the directors:  Born in Beirut, Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige collaborate as filmmakers and visual artists, filming documentaries and fiction films.  In 1999 they directed their first fiction film, Around the Pink House, and since then they have filmed several documentaries that were presented at important international festivals, cultural centers and museums, such as Khilam 2000-2007 and El Film el Mafkoud [The Lost Film].  In 2008 they were awarded the award for Film Singulier Francophone [Remarkable French-language Film] for their film Je Veux Voir, starring Catherine Deneuve, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
