LIVE IMPROVISATION BY NOI

Noi is the sound project of Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo, a multi-style artist undergoing continuously reinvention and an avid participant in today’s netlabel scene. Since its beginnings, his music career has been linked with a profound interest in the riskiest and most personal sounds while he has developed a special taste for the world of radio and the many possibilities it holds. As a producer, he has spent many years giving shape to his own idea of sound by continually changing minds and intentions that lead to a completely mouldable work escaping neat definition. Basing his work almost fully on fixed sounds, the result is a tantric exercise in setting a mood with a predisposition to unique and unrepeatable experiences. He has recently appeared in some of the most advanced music festivals in our country, such as LEM, Sonikas and Emergencias, releasing his work mainly through audiovisual platforms or labels on the Internet. In addition to his creative work he co-directs Netlabel Escala, which sponsors some of the most important talent in the current electronic music scene. In 2012 he released his most recent work, Ten Years, a compilation of some pieces made years ago.
