LUZMADRID

Madrid International Light Festival

The third edition of the international festival LuzMadrid will illuminate the city from March 12 to 14 with 15 art installations across 12 locations. During the presentation, the delegate was joined by the festival’s artistic director, Delia Piccirilli, and Ricardo Morcillo, director of the LuzMadrid Encounter, which will take place on Saturday, March 14.

This year, LuzMadrid focuses on the Arganzuela district, a territory known for its diverse landscapes and rich architectural heritage, blending industrial past with recent urban transformations. Iconic spaces such as Matadero Madrid, Casa del Reloj, Nave de Terneras, Madrid Río, and the Pico del Pañuelo neighborhood offer a route particularly valuable for exploring the city’s urban and heritage landscape. LuzMadrid also continues its presence in central Madrid, with installations at the Galería de Cristal of the Palacio de Cibeles, the historic Plaza de la Villa, and the unique Frontón Beti Jai.
