M2 OF LEGAZPI SOUNDS

The project seeks to capture and record the daily sounds of the district of Legazpi. Field recordings will be remixed later, creating new sound works which will be part of a file located on www.m2sonido.net. The opening of this site will take place on November 5th and will be accompanied by the talk How to escape from the sound landscape. From John Cage to Murray Schafer, and back again: the problem of representation, by Miguel Álvarez.  On 20^th and 21th, Pablo Sanz will teach the workshop Introduction to the practice of phonography and field recording.
