Third installment of M2 Of Legazpi Sounds, a project that aims to capture and record everyday sounds of Legazpi neighborhood and, based on field recordings, create new sound works at the platform www.m2sonido.net.
This time, there will be a connection with Chiu Longina, anthropologist, musicologist, sound artist and creator of acoustic spaces. Co-founder and member of the collective Escoitar.org, SINSALaudio, the Community of Digital Artists Alg-a, the web portal of sound art Artesonoro.org and Meiateletipos.net.
In addition, Sergio Gómez Brito will present El Cloquido, a project which aims to show and preserve the sound identity of Canary Islands. There will be also be discussed the results of the workshop about phonography taught by Pablo Sanz past November.
