Illustrator Luis Royo and painter Rómulo Royo have combined their forces for a year and a half to create Malefic Time, an ambitious initiative of fiction that covers many formats, from traditional oil painting and graphite to the sculpture installation and technological media. In this exhibition, you can appreciate the incredible contrast between the enormous and textured paintings and the detailed illustrations. Furthermore, the rock group Avalanch has composed a soundtrack to go along with the project’s first illustrated book. Malefic time tells the story of a post-apocalyptic battle in which a young woman in search of her past travels the streets of New York carrying a sword, Malefic, which will decide the future of humanity.
