Chris Marker (France, 1921) whose body of work consists almost entirely of documentary film, made up of hipnotic images blending poetry, essay and politics. His work has been very influential for several generations of non-fiction film auteurs, but hasn't quite reached mass audiences. Cineteca has prepared a selection of works by this undeniably cult filmmaker, including, as well as other titles, La sixième face du Pentagone (1968), L’ambassade (1973), Casque Bleu (1995) and Chat Perchés (2003).
