Cineteca Madrid
The work of Chris Marker (France, 1921) is almost entirely documentary, composed of hypnotic images that blend poetry, essay and politics. His work has been highly influential for various generations of non-fiction filmmakers, but he has still not reached mass audiences. The Cineteca will offer a selection of films by this authentic cult filmmaker including La sixième face du Pentagone (1968), L’ambassade (1973), Casque bleu (1995) and Chats perchés (2003), among others.
