August sees the return of the only summer Terrace where you can discover the best of Madrid's underground: local bands and emerging performers, and open to all so that anyone who wants to can show the public their latest creative madness.
Two weekly fun, festive, free and open-air events that you can attend with children, with that friend stopping over in Madrid, or with whoever's available. The stage: the Escaravox by Andrés Jaque, two irrigation structures with stage lighting, audiovisual equipment and sound available to performers and anyone taking part.
The Plaza Matadero becomes a place of opportunity for experimenting with new production practices and cultural enjoyment in the public space. A creative environment where you can imagine and construct new places where the inhabitants are no longer just passers-by but the producers of the symbolic and cultural assets of their cities.
