Tejiendo Redes [Knitting Networks] is a meeting place for people connected to participatory processes in all fields: Collectives and Social Movements, Social Initiave Cooperatives, Social Entities, Administration, Neighbors, etc.  It is intended for working with formats involving contact and reflection, as a sort of laboratory for practices in participation, networking, and transforming our surroundings.

Three-hour long work mini-meetings are planned, with an informal roundtable meant to enable participants to share practical experiences and a workspace.  In open groups, with freedom of movement, participants will work on keys found in the practical roundtable expositions.  This space does not pretend to resolve or specify these keys, but rather seeks to decypher, scrutinize, generate consensus and disensus... that will become part of the material taken to the big meeting (in autumn in a space outside Madrid).

We seek initiatives favoring social participation, to be developed over a short period of time: work that possesses major emotional motivation on behalf of the people involved and affected, work that is of a “more or less ephimeral” nature with the capacity to agitate or revolutionize, in that period of time, a collective or territory, have a major impact on the symbolic group or community memory.
