MOST FAMILIAR TYPES
A typography workshop for children and typographic narration
Authors Margarita del Mazo, winner of the Premio Lazarillo 2011, and Paula Carbonell bring us this workshop where they teach youngsters to tell the difference between different types of script, to play, and to give life to them... Because we can create something with them that's more than just words.
The participants play and experiment with different families of script (Roman, Egyptian, print, calligraphy, and ornamental script) to get to know them and to recognize them. Enjoy the magic thay is turning letters into animals with a mind of their own and explore the possibilities for plastic expression that different scripts offer.
