NAVID NUUR: HOCUS FOCUS

ARCO AT MATADERO MADRID. For his first individual exhibition in Spain, Navid Nuur presents a series of works that explore objects’ relations with light and darkness. Nuur works with materials of everyday use, investigating the limits of what can be considered art. His work departs from the figure of the artist-magician or artist-scientist, creating a spectrum of new aesthetic and semantic insights.
