NUBE UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Inspired by the new exhibition at Casa del Lector, Lecturas de cabecera [Bedside Readings], which takes us on an interactive sensory journey through the images we see prior to or while falling asleep, Chiquitectos has created a workshop to work with the fantastic architecture seen in our dreams… impossible architecture we keep in our memory upon waking.   Sixty minutes of play revolving around utopic architecture.  Participants will build their own dreamt-up architectures, the results of their creativity and desires, inspired by dream images, futuristic projects that were never built, and fantasy spaces from the worlds of film and comics.   Children will have the chance to work with space and imagination, creating architectural models.  They'll enjoy playing where anything goes and finding the tools and modes of expression they need and, with them, they will be able to outline their own spaces, coming to understand the concepts of scale and proportion.
