OCUPACIÓN POÉTICA DE ARTE URBANO
Poetic Occupation By Urban Art
1/6
Ocupación Poética de Arte Urbano [Poetic Occupation By Urban Art] is the first virtual event created under the auspices of La Noche de los Libros [The Night of the Book], aiming to associate virtual content to all real plastic images.
Designed to be urban artistic intervention, it offers new experiences in interaction with urbano mural art, turning its apparent immobility into a window open to interdisciplinary dialogue. The mural is no longer a real plastic artwork; it has become interpretable on a virtual plane for interaction with the public, acting not only on the physical space of reality, but additionally working on the virtual position occupied by said reality, respecting the integrity of the work.
Thanks to the use of the LAYAR enhanced reality browser, available free of charge for most smartphones and tablets on the market with an Internet connection, it is possible to scan both the mural, in its original location, and any printed replica or any replica in another physical format.
This system enables one to recognize the image and gain access to its associated audiovisual content from any part of the world. A collaboration by:
Juan Carlos Ibáñez Angulo Carlos Contreras Elvira Belin Ana Pérez Cañamares Roger Subirana Mata If you'd like to find out more, visit:
