It is Manuel Pertegaz’s dresses themselves that create the focus of this documentary. In almost seven decades of work and after creating hundreds and thousands of pieces, Manuel Ibáñez Pertegaz is one of the key influences on Spanish society. From his first designs in the early 40s, that show the conservatism of post-war Spain to daring creations in the 60s, inspired by the social revolutions of the time, through Pertegaz’s designs you can revisit much of 20^th century history.
