This workshop is meant to mark the occasion of the III International Storytelling Day Conferences, along with "The Adventure of Hearing", an homage to Ana Pelegrín.  The Asociación Madrileña de Narración Oral (MANO) presents at Casa del Lector a children's rhymes workshop, Pico, picoteja, organized by Alicia Mohíno, Graciela Pelegrín and Maísa Marbán.   "Children's rhymes are playful poetry and can have few or many elements; a child's poetic way of speaking, secret, scarcely understood using logic.  Words accompany the game, becoming the game itself…"*   This workshop sets out to bring back creative children's poetic games using that secret language that opens the doors to the personal and mysterious kingdom of the spoken word.
Tin Marín de los pingüeros Kúkara-Maca Kúkara-fuego
Thus, with this random rhyme we enter the world of Pico Pico Teja.  And through phonetic, rhythmic, interconnected, and cumulative games, the workshop's participants will create their own rhymes.
