A workshop designed by the Dutch collective Platform 21= Repairing, these activities involve procedures and practices for repair that were totally normal to everyday life until relatively little ago.  Here the concept of repairing as a creative, cultural and economic force, takes center stage in direct opposition to the obsession with producing new objects so common to us.  At these workshops, broken or simply unused objects get a chance at a second life, and their owners can turn them into new, unique and personalized pieces.  The 29th of April the conference Stop recycling, start repairing!, featuring the Repair Manifesto, will be given by Arne Hendricks, the project coordinator of Platform 21.
