The festival started out in 2006 as an extension of Primavera Sound to accommodate new values, groups that were left out of the bill and also to welcome back winning artists from previous years.
Sustained by the same pillars that have made the summer event a benchmark in Europe, San Miguel Primavera Club consists of a set of performances in which quality trumps popularity, offering a solid and coherent music experience, with room for dj sets to boot. The bill brings together a wide variety of artists, both Spanish and international names, and blends the up-and-coming with the established, without resorting to the commercial. With six editions under its belt, the festival has established itself as the leading winter festival on the independent scene. San Miguel Primavera Club draws a demanding crowd that won't settle for just anything; these are music fans who are open to new musical projects, unphased by stylistic barriers. Friday, December 7 Mark Lanegan Band, Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, The Vaccines, Toy, Swans, Antonia Font, Sir Richard Bishop, Bremen. Saturday, December 8 "La Alineación de Los Planetas" featuring: Los Planetas, Los Punsetes, Klaus & Kinski and Airbag. Red Kross, Cats on Fire, Little Wings, Tuya, Dj Coco. You can check the scheduled performances here.
Both one-day passes and multiple-day passes must be exchanged for a bracelet. The exchange can be made in the lobby at Matadero Madrid at the following times: Wednesday, December 5: 5pm-10pm Thursday, December 6: 5pm-10pm Friday, December 7: 3pm-1am Saturday, December 8: 3pm-11pm For more information, please visit www.primaveraclub.com/intercambioEntradas
