REGGAETÓN MANIFIESTO O EL TON TON DE UNA REVOLUCIÓN
La Plaza en Verano 2016
Institution
Based on this project, La Parcería was one of the groups selected via The Party is Permanent open call curated by Grupal Crew Collective.
Although Ton Ton has been censured, criticised for its male chauvinist lyrics and scorned for its simple compositions, it is a contagious, basic and impulsive genre that gets you up and dancing when you least expect it.
Reggaetón Manifiesto is a journey through the aesthetics and discourses of reggaeton, a voyage that begins in the 1970s and continues to live and evolve into antagonistic, sexist and feminist, capitalist and anti-establishment discourses, ultimately bringing us to the Lesbian Reggaeton of Chocolate Remix.
