Tentacular, Festival de Tecnologías Críticas y Aventuras Digitales (Critical Technologies and Digital Adventures Festival), is a project at Matadero Madrid, curated by Julia Kaganskiy, Bani Brusadin and José Luis de Vicente. It opens up a place for uncomfortable ideas, unpredictable creative projects, and non-academical research to understand new crises in an interconnected society.
Tentacular is a journey to the darkest alleys of current techno-political infrastructures, but also a celebration of the work and ideas of artists, researchers and activists around the world who are forging alternatives and answers to shape a new technological worldview.
Talks, meetings, lectures-performance, projections, installations, workshops, and other experimental formats such as The Internet Yami Ichi (or flea market for Internet things), will constitute the first edition of this festival, which will take place in Matadero Madrid from Thursday 22 to Saturday 24 of November.
