THEORY AND PRAXIS (TEORÍA Y PRAXIS)

Every filmic practice contains a potential theory. Since the dawn of cinema, numerous figures have moved between the two shores of cinematographic thought: the image and its writing. The image ignites writing, which in turn fuels theoretical reflection. Writing conditions and projects the image, at times even transforming it.

This series, curated in collaboration with researcher Francisco Javier Fernández, gathers the works of filmmakers from diverse backgrounds who have explored this dialogue between thought and practice through a wide range of creative experiences.
