UN BERENAR A GINEBRA
Cineteca Premieres
1/2
In 1973, towards the end of the Franco dictatorship, Mercè Rodoreda, one the most important European authors of the twentieth century, bumped into the literary critic and publisher Josep Maria Castellet in Geneva, where she lived in exile, and who she invited to tea at her house. The famous writer, certainly a very discreet person, kept everything about herself secret. She herself became a secret, or even perhaps a maker of secrets. But that afternoon, strangely, she opened up and shared many of them with her guest.
