URBAN STAYLE (UNA VAINA LOCA)
Urban and latin dance company
Programme
Urban Stayle is an urban and Latin dance company brought together by youngsters from the Legazpi district. It draws on rhythms and styles originating from different countries and periods, such as urban dance or street dance, bachata, typical merengue, mambo, dembow and reggaeton. The enterprise aims to become a meeting point for enrichment and growth and a place to have a good time.
Luis Alfredo Acosta and the urban and latin dance company invite all young people interested in taking part in a programme of weekly encounters at Intermediae to exchange experiences and knowledge about dance. It is a chance to try, rehearse, learn and share. Throughout the sessions the group will hold rehearsals, exchanges and group sessions, where the progress of each participant will be valued. The aim of the group is the production of a final choreography, as well as the occasional participation of professional dancers, in festivals and all types of forums related to dance and the city.
