Presented as an official selection at the most recent Gijón International Film Festival, this modern comedy deals with friendship, coming to terms with things, parent-child relationships, and the major and minor adventures we experience throughout our lives.
Iñaki and Mateo are lifelong friends brought together by their trips to the mountains. Time has passed and they've gone their separate ways. After having not seen each other for a long time, one night they run into each other in a bar. It gets late and, over many drinks, the idea comes up again of climbing that 3000 metre peak they never quite conquered. However, time has passed and, since they were 18 back then, they can't just casually head out; this time they'll have to take their kids. The directors:
After holding a position as advertising director at film distribution companies Tripictures and Vertigo Films, Miguel Ángel Pérez founded, in 2003, Karma Films, which has distributed, inter alia, the films Ciudad de vida o muerte [City of Life or Death], La doctrina del shock [The Shock Doctrine], Canino [Canine], and Medianeras [Middle]. He is the author of the play Nada que objetar [No Objection], screenwriter for the films Eres mi héroe [You Are My Here] (2003), Scouts (2010), who also co-directed and produced El vuelo del tren [The Flight of the Train] (2011).
Javier Asenjo directed the music video for Onion, "Till the Deep Sea Dries", the clip "No Tresspasing", from the short Los diminutos del calvario [The Tiny People of the Calvary] (2002), which premiered at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival, and the short film Una cierta idea de la felicidad [A Certain Idea of Happiness], which was presented at Gijón in 2005. Between 2007 and 2009 he worked on the script, production, and editing for the film Scouts, the first production by Karma Films.
