VIOLETA SE FUE A LOS CIELOS

EL SÉPTIMO VICIO AT THE CINETECA. Radio 3’s film programme, El séptimo vicio (The seventh sin), is opening its season of showings with the screening of Violeta se fue a los cielos in the Cineteca. This is a fictional work that recreates the life of the Chilean singer-songwriter Violeta Parra and departs from the usual biopic formula. From the marquee that she raised at La Reina, Violeta Parra is visited by dreams, experiences and fantasies. She is alive, but maybe she is dead, and this creates great expectation through which we learn bit by bit about her secrets, fears, frustrations and joy.

 

>With live performances by Clint, Artes, Fuel Fandango and Walter Jeromed. The radio announcer Javier Tolentino will also be present.
