Coolture Lab, FusiónCulturas and DIMAD join forces to offer a workshop featuring architect and designer Amina Agueznay: Wearables.
The idea behind this workshop is to bring together 10 designers and 10 fashion and design students in order to produce two creations: one small item and one large one in prototype format based on a module that will be developed from a series of concepts used in architecture.
About Amina Agueznay
When she isn’t collecting stones, wood, plastic and leather, jewellery designer Amina Agueznay creates small pieces of art in her studio for weeks or sometimes months at a time. “Jewellery takes me right back to my childhood, which was a very visually rich display of Berber jewellery. It influenced me greatly.”
Agueznay was born in Casablanca. She grew up around Farid Belkahia and other artists whom she still considers to be important sources of inspiration.
