You can only expect magnificent things from a company that, as a definitive declaration of its principles, sets out to “bring the basic concepts of arcade games to the latest generation of smartphones”. Even more so when that company is the glorious personal and commercial offshoot of the men who, in 1984, got the videogame industry off to a start in Spain. Fernando Rada is the co-author of Fred, Sir Fred, El Misterio del Nilo [The Mystery of the Nile], and World Rally Championship, not to mention other mythical classic titles. And his colleagues from WildBit Studios are right there with him: Jorge Mata, David Rey, José Cuesta, and Ángel Alda are the past, present, and future of this sector.
At the next Open Mondo Píxel we will have the chance to chat with them about their extensa and successful career, and they will also be offering for the first time ever the chance to see their latest creation, which has taken the form of extreme pleasure made videogame: Mind Master Sumo, an innovative boardgame “free2play” that, thanks to its absolutely novel gameplay based on thousand year old traditional Japanese sumo wrestling, will trap the gamer in a multicolor explosion of fun with its direct and simple functions.
