WORKING SPACES AT EL RANCHITO: OPEN STUDIOS

At the presentation on 18 November, you’ll be able to see the work of Elena Jiménez, who is creating a gigantic Patchwork with cut-out words sent in by the participants; the group Zoohaus will speak to us about the Inteligencias colectivas they are building; and the group Husos will present part of their Cotidianidades doméstico productivas. The group Zira 02 will surprise us with their project 100x100 Corralas while Todo por la praxis continue working collectively on the research aspects of the project Bancoguerrilla; Toxic Lesbian will tell us about their project with women in Africa; the artists of Debajo del sombrero will display some of their work; and the group BiNeural-Monokultur will introduce us to the work they have been doing all this time on documentary theatre and virtual theatre thanks to some immigrants’ participation.
In a guided tour of the spaces, visitors will be able to observe the artists’ work and engage in dialogue about the projects they’re working on.

From 15 December 2011 to April 2012, El Ranchito will show the result of the artists’ work through a public presentation and subsequent exhibition.
At the same time, a documentary archive will be made available to all visitors that combines the working process and the experiences of all the artists linked with El Ranchito.
