The Casa del Lector ushers in its year of activities at Matadero Madrid with a conference featuring two universally promising young talents in literature, Pablo Nacach and Dinaw Megestu.  Nacach (Buenos Aires, 1969), is an essayist, has his residence in Madrid and has published La vida en domingo  [Life on Sunday] (Lengua de Trapo, 2006), and Barcelona-Madrid. Sobrevivir a la ciudad [Barcelona-Madrid.  Outliving a City] (Península, 2010), among other books to his name.  Megestu is a United States citizen of Ethiopian extraction and has covered conflict in African for Rolling Stone and Jane. He has published The Beautiful Things that Heaven Bears (Penguin, 2007) and How to Read the Air (2010, Penguin).
