OPEN CALL FOR ONE SOUND SITE SPECIFIC PROJECT AT THE DEPÓSITO DE ESPECIES

IN-SONORA is opening a specific event in collaboration with MATADERO MADRID for the selection of the one SOUND SITE SPECIFIC in the new enclosure of the “Depósito elevado de aguas”, recently restored and renamed as Depósito de especies.   Who can participate Spanish artists and foreigner 18 years or older are permitted to participate. However, special attention is paid to emerging artists or those who have not participated previously in the event.   Date The event in IN-SONORA VII will take place from the 30th of April to the 24th of June of 2011. Projects will not be accepted after this date. The selected sound piece for the Matadero Madrid will be presented within the framework of the VII Exhibition of Sound Art and Interactive, to be held in the spring of 2012. The dates will be specified once projects have been selected.   Proposals requirements Each participant can present as many proposals as he/she wishes. Each proposal should be followed by its relevant request. The sound piece selected will be funded up to €9,000, of which 20% can be dedicated to the artist fees and the rest exclusively to production concepts. The selected proposal must be produced before the end of 2011 Applications must be submitted exclusively through www.in-sonora.com.
