Every year there are more and more cities worldwide that organize a very original independent film festival, indeed: the Bicycle Film Festival, the junction between the world of the bicycle and culture, by way of music, art, and, of course, film. Fínally, after twelve years spent in different cities around the globe, the festival has made it to Madrid - to Matadero - between December 21 and 22, 2012.
Film, art, music, good vibes, and fun on two wheels. At Matadero's Cineteca, a place that, due to its unique personality, aspires to become the heart of the documentary mode in Madrid, feature-length films, shorts, documentaries, and other audiovisual pieces will be screened. To keep right on moving, between one screening and the next, there will be other activities, such as Criterium, the Provos exhibition, a Bike Polo Championship and Cicloparty, workshops for children, and many more activities related to biking, all intended to transform the city for a few days into a meeting place for urban cyclists in Spain.
