Futuro terror + Sierra + Matadero Dance Clash

The closing party of Summer in Plaza Matadero will offer two concerts by Futuro Terror and Sierra, finishing up with an atypical dance battle with no inhibitions, the Matadero Dance Clash by Grupal Crew Collective and Kiba.
Futuro Terror
A couple of years ago, when Discos Humeantes presented us with two slaps in the face in the form of songs on the first Futuro Terror EP (a collaborative endeavour with the much-missed Fantasmage), many of us discovered a new favourite band. Two years on, they now have over a dozen new songs, all of which are good. They are our Marked Men, with a bit of an Iberian 80s punk feel, and they strive to make it all look easy. Sierra Hugo Sierra, the composer and driving force of Sierra’s marvellous EP, has previously been associated with bands like Margarita and Prisma en Llamas. In other words, he knows what he’s doing. He has that innate talent that made Berlanga and Benavente people with a gift for composing songs that would slice our hypothalamus in two. And that’s the thing about Sierra that defies reason. They don’t make songs, they make hymns. Matadero Dance Clash
This party will set your hips, feet and hearts free, reclaiming the joy of dancing with no inhibitions. A night set to famous and less well-known music from the course of our history, which will see those who know how to dance showing off their moves on the dance floor and those who don’t (or think they don’t) having a blast trying to do the same. It will be a night of friendly competition to burn up the dance floor and take home the awards up for grabs in the most unusual dance-off you’ve ever seen.
