Curators' Network presents several of the results of their activities, in a reflection of what is to come: the chance opportunities and challenges faced when attempting to overcome the limitations faced by happenings on the cultural periphery, which we understand here as the cultural manifestations that arise in spheres far removed from the usual hotbeds of contemporary art.

The activities the Curators' Network has prepared for these three weeks in summer within the spaces at Intermediae are divided into two sections.  On one hand, members from Austria, Hungary, Poland, and Romania will be presenting three curatorial projects in different exhibition formats- or as workshops- that have been created together with artists who have participated in network activities.  Additionally, hablarenarte: will be holding three seminars on topics and questions that have come up over the years the network has been active, and whose discussion could help to make the network stronger in the future.

Curators' Network is a European platform created by five independent partners from Spain, Romania, Poland, Hungary, and Austria.  It seeks to promote on an international scale initiatives by artists and other cultural agents.  Since 2010, Curators' Network has been successfully tying together these threads between art professionals from Europe and beyond, bringing what's on the cultural periphery closer.
