Screening of a series of documentaries, centering on the consequences of the disaster that took place in Japan in March 2011, and on how  Japanese society is struggling to recover. The programme is made up of the following titles:

Últimas Sonrisas, Tiernas Despedidas (Last Smiles, Fond Goodbyes). A documentary about a restorative artist in the area affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake (49')

72 Horas (72 Hours): La lucha por la Supervivencia de un Hospital (72 hours: a hospital's fight for survival). Erin Ellis, a veteran journalist who specialises in health and writes for a Canadian newspaper, visits Kesennuma to cover the medical aid provided in the middle of the disaster (28')

Descontaminación: el Desafío de un pueblo (Decontamination: a town's challenge). The inhabitants of Litate in Fukushima are dissatisfied with the government's plans for clean-up and decontamination. The residents have made their own radiation dosimeters with GPS, and with the help of scientists, have developed new decontamination methods using farming machinery (28')

“Brotarán las Flores de un Millón de Personas” (One Million People's Flowers Will Bloom). The story of the song produced by the NHK channel to support recovery after the disaster of March 2011. The lyrics are a message from those who lost their lives, to those they left behind (28').
