NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION DAY
The 2nd Neighborhood Conference and #dinamizaMadriz!
Programme
2nd Neighborhood Conference
The consequences of the economic crisis and the unrelenting policy of privatization and social cutbacks advanced by different administrations have, in a general way, made our living conditions precarious.
Far from paralizing us, these circumstances have led to exciting civic action giving way to new forms of organization (white, green, and blue 'tides' of protest by workers from different sectors, 'time banks', food banks, self-run public spaces...).
The Regional Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Madrid (FRAVM) has organized the 2nd Neighborhood Conference, a space for reflection and debate between the neighborhood movement and other civic movements, revolving around six themed tables:
Those interested in signing up should write to encuentrovecinal@aavvmadrid.org and specify at which table that would like to participate, or call 91 725 29 09.
#dinamizaMadriz! (Invigorating Madrid)
FRAVM begins the year with a new edition of #dinamizaMadriz!! For the third year in a row, on October 19 we will put on display the work done by neighborhood associations together with the Neighborhood Dinamization Service to improve coexistence in a community. The program of activities will include participatory workshops for all ages (traditional games, giant chess...), as well as sports tournaments (volleyball, baseball, football...), exhibitions, and screenings. The event will conclude with musical performances.
