THE CAR THAT CAME BACK FROM THE SEA (SAMOCHÓD, KTÓRY WRÓCIŁ Z MORZA) (Jadwiga Kowalska, Switzerland, 2023, 10´)
Full of exuberance and frivolity, six friends drive to and from the Polish Baltic coast in a small, dented car. During the trip, the car and the country fall apart. However, life goes on. Their journey is intertwined with memories and snapshots of the past.

ADIÓS (José Prats, UK, 2024, 8´)
Pedro, 72, is trying to cope with the imminent departure from home of his son Alex, 38, to England. As they go on one last hunt, full of pent-up words and feelings, they discover that their dog Cinnamon has swallowed fox poison. Made by Spanish director José Prats at the National Film and Television School (NFTS).

LA SAISON POURPRE (THE PURPLE SEASON) (Clémence Bouchereau, France, 2023, 9´)
On an island near a mangrove swamp, several girls live in the rhythm of time. Héloïse, the prettiest, gradually discovers her new environment. Lucia, in puberty, devotes herself to hunting wild geese to feed the group. Sarah, the youngest, is the most willing to follow in her footsteps. Over time, tensions arise and rivalries develop. Short film made with the pinscreen technique.

PLAYING GOD (Matteo Burani, Italy, 2024, 9´)
A clay sculpture comes to life in the darkness of a workshop, surrounded by strange creatures. In the words of its director, “this story is about failure. Each of us experiences it, in a continuous cycle of making mistakes and learning from them. To what extent are these failures fundamental in the path of our personal growth?”

FLOWER SHOW (Elli Vuorinen, Finland, 2024, 8´)
Polite formality, allusive sexuality and mysterious nature are intertwined in the annual flower show. During the celebration, wildflowers are trampled. In the forest, nature and fragile leg hairs continue to grow. This poetic film portrays a fragmented story of how girls have been cultivated as flowers for generations.

DOS MENOS (TWO LESS) (Taroa Zúñiga, Venezuela, 2024, 8´)
Two young migrant women die in dark circumstances at the hands of repressive bodies of the Chilean state. From death, Joanne Florvil and Beatriz Díaz Agüero tell us about their decision to migrate, their hopes and their motherhood, but also about how the country they arrived in cornered them and threatened them until they were murdered. Has anything changed in 44 years?

KAMINHU (Marie Vieillevie, France, 2024, 15’)
Joanna, una joven viajera europea, recorre las islas de Cabo Verde junto a su cuaderno de dibujo. En su camino se encuentra con Lito, un pescador local que la incitará a retrasar su partida del pueblo de Esperança. / Joanna, a young European traveler, travels through the islands of Cape Verde with her sketchbook.
