Festivalito Capítulo uno

The Festivalito Capítulo uno, which is being held for the first time, is a space for children and young people. The intention is that it will become the leading literary festival for Madrid's readers of the future.

Featuring a wide range of activities for families throughout the entire weekend, Festivalito comes in a variety of different creative formats. Halfway between radio and the living arts, with live music, different guests related to the Festival as well as sets and costumes specially created for the occasion, a radio programme will be broadcast from Matadero in which young people will be the protagonists. The result will be recorded which means that those attending the Festivalito will be able to listen to it in person or, along with everyone else, online, thanks to the ensuing podcasts.

Festivalito Chapter One will also organise workshops on science fiction, literature and manwa (the Korean version of Japanese manga), as well as concerts and lots of other activities linked to the Festival’s authors.

A spatial radio event by Colectivo HUL
The Space Adventures of 0 and 99 will take off on Saturday the 25th at 11:00 a.m., with a unique format halfway between theatre, radio and variety show. Authors and festival collaborators will participate, including Sookkyeom Kim, Layla Martínez, Michel Nieva and Sonia Fernández Pan.
